  • 1989 OMC Cobra 4.3L V6 Question

I have a 1989 OMC Cobra 4.3L V6 (Model # 432APRMED) and a OMC Outdrive (Model # 985269). Will an ESI conversion kit fit my needs?

How much does the conversion kit, upper and lower cost to complete the swap from a to z?

The conversion kit will work for you. You just need to verify that your remote control can change the throw of the shift cable to work with our SE116 drive. You would want the 1.81 ratio. You may also need to purchase a new prop.

The drive with install kit and anode kit is 1496.80 and the conversion kit is 350.00

Shipping is anywhere from 71-162 in the lower 48 states.

What change needs to be made to the shift remote? Are you speaking of the control or the shift plate?

          Thanks.

Does the conversion use the old OMC prop, or a Mercruiser?

            prop

A Mercruiser one is needed with the mounting hardware
