  • warranty process?

    hello there I bought a se 116 back at the end of last year was installed on the boat in april we follow break in procedures the drive was noise but after we replace the fluid after 8 hours the noise was going down, now we have another noise coming from the outdrive and only when is on forward or reverse, the boat is going to the shop tomorrow for inspection, I want to know what is the procedure for the warranty....thanks..

    If you need warranty service, just call 813-925-7127 and ask for warranty. Please be sure to have the serial number for the SEI unit handy as they will ask you for that first.

      I just called the warranty department and they told me to ship the outdrive back, what is the process here are you guys fixing the drive or sending a new I kind of confuse here.....

        We fix or repair depending on what happened to the drive. After the drive gets here we inspect it an make a determination.
