installed new se106 took up to lake and runs great. have a prob with shifting into neutral from both forward to reverse. goes into neutral a little hard. when the boat is out of the water without a load its shifts fine. any suggestions. by the way the se106 installed and shipped excellent

have done alot of reading and have read about cuttoff switch issues and also shift cable issues. read in my maual on the adjustments and DAMM it sure is confucing. maybe should take it to marine mech. any idea on costs? -
The shift cable adjustment can be a liitle confusing at first. If you are unsure of yourself then taking it to a mechanic would be a good idea. I would think you would be looking at 1 hour labor to get it adjusted. If they need to replace cables then it might jump to 4 hours or so.
