  • Thrust washer

When I try to put the thrust washer on, it won't seat up to the prop shaft camfer. The shaft tapers out causing it to be about a quarter inch short from the camfer. Is there a special thrust washer? The prop was installed without the thrust washer, as the person that installed it must have had the same problem, and just put the prop on without the thrust washer. Thanks for any help.

I found my answer! I have an old thrust washer for pre 83 props. I should be fixed up once I get the right thrust washer:)
