  • se 116 w/o internal gearlube res

I got a new 116 to replace my old a1 gen 2. my boat does not have an internal gearlube resevoir, the bell housing is plugged. the SE 116 seems to be leaking lube into the bellhousing gasket from the gearlube monitor channel.
Is there a fitting that plugs this on the se116. thanks!

There is no plug, but I would recommend filling the passage with some silicone or 5200.

5200 to plug the gearlube monitor hole

Thanks for the reply, I thought of that as a possible solution but was afraid to go with that in hopes of an off the shelf solution. I also thought of making some kind of rubber plug to jam in there...
