ONe problem with my new alpha drive

I finally had some time today and got my new 106 alpha drive installed. I would like to think I followed all instructions and manuals to a T, however I have one problem. When I shift into gear I no longer need to press the button on my throttle to engage the gear. This the same for forward and reverse. Would anyone by chance know if I missed something during the install? Am I going to have to take the drive off again?

The problem is not in your drive. Your remote control has lost the detent function. You will have to inspect it to find the problem.

You are best off consulting a mechanic. You may have to replace your controls.
