Overheating

I purchaced a se116 1 week from stern drive .at 2300rpm does not over heat as soon as i accelarate temp slowly goes to 200. when i bring the rpm back down its fine, can cruise all day i did this several times and always the same result. . Had unit off several times.Checked for obstructions in hoses there was none ,impella was fine ,checked water tube it was fine put in new thermostate still overheates .It never overheated until i put in new stern drive .
Has several mechanics stumped.Could there be something wrong with your casting of stern drive Please help
