  • reverse problems

Just installed my new se106 and it wont shift into reverse. I made sure everything was in forward when we put it together and it goes into forward gear and neutral fine. I tried to adjust the cable but there seems to not be enough adjustment. If I take the "barrell" adjuster out of its place and manually slide the cable it goes in rev. but is a good half inch past the threaded adjustment section and then it would be to far and loose forward adjustment. I dont think its the cable cause it shifted fine before the new unit and the fwd. adj. is right where it was before. Any ideas???
    Thanks-- Dave

With the drive off check to see how many degrees of travel you have in your shift shaft. If it is 70 degrees or less it is in your shift cable adjustment. If it is more than 70 degrees contact our warranty department at 727-461-0811 between 8AM and 5PM Eastern time.
