My experience purchasing and installing the SEI106 upper and lower units was excellent. I received both units packaged separately and with the instructions on the SEI website was able to put these together and install the complete outdrive.
This was the first time I've installed an outdrive and other than the fact that it was difficult to align the shaft of the outdrive (no fault of SEI), the installation went without a hitch.
I believe that anyone who is mechanically inclined can install an SEI outdrive without any problem.
