  • engine Exhause and water

    I have a 1985 glasstron sx 190
    305 v-8 with alpha one gen 1
when running on a garden hose and once the thermostate opens up I get most of the water exiting out somewhere in the lower gimbell housing at the back of the boat.I do feel exhause gases coming thru the prop but not much water. Is the normal

It is normal to have water coming from both places. You can check to be sure your exhaust bellows is not ripped as this would allow more water to exit at the gimbal housing instead of through the prop.
