  • 1.62 vs 1.65

    I ordered an SE116 with 1.62 ratio. When I received the unit it had a red tag on it that indicated it was 1.65 (hand written on the tag with the serial number). Before I have the mechanic install the unit, I wanted to verify that this is correct. The unit I am replacing had 1.62 and SEI website doesn't even mention 1.65 ratio.

    The difference in the ratio comes from the redesigned lower gears some years back. If you were to compare tooth counts between the old upper and the new you would see that they are identical.
