  • Trim pump operation

I'm considering upgrading my pre alpha trim system with a new pump, trim cylinders etc.
    Which should I buy?
My pre alpha trim system had a reverse lock out/trim sender unit attache to the rear shift plate. I understand the new pumps have the reverse lockout built into the pump. How is this activated ie. micro switch ? I can't find any mention of how this circuit works anywhere on the web.

I've already upgraded my gimbal housing/gimbal/bell housing to an alpha one with the side mounted sender and limit switch.

    Thanks

The reverse lock out in the new trim pumps is a mechanical hydraulic lock that is built in. If you now have an Alha One Generation One transom assembly then you would need to purchase our 9C-108 pump. You can use our 9B-104-01 and 9B-104-02 trim cylinders, along with a 9B-104 kit that includes the lines and hardware.
