Buying from local distributor question

If I buy the full unit from a local distributor, how is the warranty handled? Meaning, do I return to them or do I deal with the factory direct and send the unit to Florida. What advantage would it be to buy locally rather than to deal with the factory direct if I have to return to Florida if something happens, which I doubt by the way.

All warranties are handled in our factory in Florida. You may purchase from a local vendor or directly from the factory.
