SE116 Alpha 1 Gen 2 Prop Shaft End Play.

Hi, I just recieved my SE116 lower unit. I was looking through my Mercruiser shop manual and it suggested checking the prop shaft end play. It said it should be between .001 - .050. I measured the end play on my OEM lower unit and it was .035. I measured the end play on the new SE116 lower unit and it was .075. Should I be concerned about this excessive end play?
