Have a bertram 26. Put on a pair of 106's and carefully broke them in
hauled boat at 10.5 hrs drained and filled new mercruiser high performance
oil. All seems fine, shifts smooth. Had a mechanic install them they are the
short spline and just a bit tricker so gave it to a pro. No instructions came
with them. The mech commented they they seemed to nick easily and questioned the primming methods. We'll be checking everything closely when the boat is hauled end of season. Another 80 or so hours? And post
a follow up report. Owner of marina is watching this cause' he has a pair of cobras he would like to replace with the SEI's.
