put my new lower unit on and took it out for about an hour or so. i was inpressed, on how it shifts so smooth, during the break in.i have a 90 hp mercury, and it seems to work great. but there were no instruction on the 205. web site i work at a boat yard for a couple of yrs,that makes it easy too install.
