Two SE106 purchased
Bought two full unit SDI106's with the install kits and bellows kits. After installing them boat ran like it was a new boat. Amazing!
Advice:: you will probably need the install kit for the brass shifter knob (its not included with a full unit) I imagine you could uninstall the knob from an old Alpha 1 drive, but I sold the one drive I had that worked and not having the knob would have been fun to explain.
Install advice::
*I dont believe the directions specifically mentioned this so I will now.. (forgive me if common sense should kick in) but the brass shift knob AND the trim anode bolt need to be installed PRIOR to mating the lower and upper housings.
*Its heavier, but easier, to install the entire unit on the boat versus the upper unit first then the lower unit.
