I had a bent prop shaft on my Mercury Alpha drive. The repair cost with a used shaft was going to be $950. After researching lower units I decided to buy a new lower unit from SEI. The cost was lower and it has a 3 year warranty. I received my new unit in two days. Unit came ready to bolt on and fill with oil. I have almost completed my 10 hour break in and the unit is great.
