Last Summer I gained ownership of a Bayliner 2252 Cierra. All was well in my life. A new wife and a boat to enjoy..... then three weeks ago while on Lake Murray here in Oklahoma the lower unit seized.
I got home to dump the lube. A half inch of metal shavings collected in the bucket. Then began the search.... WOW.... This wasn't going to be cheep. The local dealer here did offer some help though. GO ONLINE ! So I gambled.
Sterndrive was the way to go!
I am proud to say the boat is back to running the water again, and the wife is still enjoying her co-pilot seat...LOL
