  • SEI106 for me

Recently I had a bottom box fail on my cruiser, it is fitted with twin Mercruiser 470 engines and Alfa 1 legs. I acquired some prices to rebuild the faulty leg and do a major service on both whilst out of the water. In Australia 90% of the boating activities are carried out in salt water, therefore, there is very little used parts available for these older legs. After much research I settled on a pair of SEI 106's to bolt up to my old gimble housings, this proved to be a simple job as all necessary items were included. I finished up with 2 brand new legs for the price of rebuilding one and servicing the other. I dealt with Dockpartner and Allan Doyle from that company was very helpful. The legs took only 7 days to make it to my door which is teriffic in anyones terms. The legs have done about 8hrs running and are great! I would not hesitate to recomend this option for any of my countrymen to upgrade their older boat and give it maybe another 20 years service.
    Thanks SEI
