    "O" ring question...

First: I just installed my se106 drive however my driveshaft (upper) from SEI had three "O" rings on it and my original drive shaft only had the two, the ones at the top. I didn't put the larger one on. Should I do that?

Second: My manual indicates that the lower drive shaft should have an "O" ring at the top of it however the one from SEI doesn't have one...Do I need one there?

    Thanks

    P.S. It is a 3.0L engine built in 1990.

O.K. I found the answer to question one on another thread. I still don't know about the second.....

The lower drive shaft does not use an o-ring any longer. You do not need it.

      Thanks,
