I have 1980 Mercury 150hp SN# 5708239. I also have another Mercury 150hp SN# 4589901 don't know the year of this one. Which lower unit would I need to git for this motors?

As long as they are both V6's then you are looking for the SE206. It is most likely a 1.87 ratio, but you should double check because the schematic also shows a 2.0 as an option. For the driveshaft length, you should measure from the mounting surface to the top of the driveshaft, but don't include the pin at the top if so equipped. If you measure about 23 inches it is a 20 inch shaft. If you measure 28 inches it is a 25 inch shaft. We have all combinations in stock. Feel free to call us with any questions. 813-925-7127
