  • broken bolt in upper?

hi, was servicing my se106 and broke a bolt in the upper unit
i know i need to tap it out, but i was wondering if i could do without
it, it's a allen wrench bolt, there are two bolts in front and the anode
bolt behind it, would those keep it tight enough so it won't leak?

    bolt

Thats a 3/8ths dia. bolt, just how could you break it? A lot of drives I get to service have it missing so its not a issue. Most of mine are frozen in and need to be drilled out.goes in from the bottom?

hi, yes it bolts in from bottom don't know how i broke it
it's supose to be stainless steel and the unit is aluminum
i even sprayed it with wd 40 before it turned it, there was
      no sign of corrosion?
