  • Torn Bellows SE106

I have discovered a leak in my bellows on the port side. A mechanic friend of mine says I need a
    Transom Seal Kit.
I would like to order these necessary parts. This leak could be from last year and I am sure that it is the cause of some water coming into my hull. Not terrible amounts but it explains where it has been coming from. The boat seems to be operating fine other than this. ...... for now

My questions are what ALL do I need to order to take off the outdrive, replace all bellows and hoses inside this area and put the outdrive back on?

Do I absolutely always need to replace the gimble bearing and U joint if they have been in a water environment?
    Thank you!

You got it, those are the parts you need. You may also want to pick up some bellows adhesive. I don't use it, but it is recommended. Regarding the ujoints, I would try to grease them and see if water comes out. If it does, then I would replace them.
