Alpha 1 gen 2 lower unit is making a clicking noise when rotated. If I lift up on the input shaft the noise is non existent
Noise is there in neutral and both forward and reverse
The driveshaft is a floating driveshaft. When you put a load on it, the driveshaft moves up into the correct position. The clicking your hearing when turning it is because the backlash is non existent until the shaft is moved up. In use, it will be fine.
