Its been two years since my boat has seen on the water, and I have taken that long to research finding a new sterndrive. I was very skeptical about the low cost of the SEI drives. Why so much lower then the rest. After many reviews on the web and questions to mechanics about SEI I purchased the drive, SE116 1.94 complete because no mechanic had anything bad to say and only a few had bad experience. Of course you have to wonder if the bad experiences are those who don't break in the drive as instructed. Last week was the initial 5 hour break-in period and everything went great, could not be happier, Next week will be the second break-in period, 5-10 hours.
Everyone I talked to at SEI was very friendly and helpful. After my order I received the drives in 3 days. Great service and drives. Thanks.
