New Lower Unit

I've recently purchased a complete SE106 lower unit. Installation was effortless as I've done this before. Just completed the 5 hour break in period. The was unit loud (whined), but as I've read in other posts, it's getting progressively quieter. Concerned about over heating at low RPM's in gear, although it cools off immediately at higher RPM. O-ring is in place and I have not sucked up any desbris. Concerned about impeller. Any thoughts?

A low speed overheat typically does mean the impeller has a problem. You can call the warranty department and they can send one out to you.
