A number of years ago one of the Alpha's (twin screws) on my father-in-laws Carver locked up. He chose to use SEI for a complete upper and lower replacement. The unit has been fault free for all these years, so when my 21 foot Citation with an Alpha started making a telltale clunking sound this year the choice for me was clear--- SEI! I placed my order online, called the following day with a quick question which was answered by a very friendly lady and within a few days I had a new outdrive sitting at my house. The next day my family and I were back enjoying ourselves on the water, carrying out the break-in procedure. What I thought years ago was a little bit of risk taking on my father-in-laws part, I had no such feelings when I placed the order for a new drive for our boat. Thanks SEI.
