my SEI purchase
Had twin alpha 1's on my 1987 25 ft Grady White Sailfish. In the spring went to change the oil on the starboard unit and a pint of water came out. Tired of repairs so I purchased a complete 106 unit. Arrived very quickly and installed just like the old Alpha one. Boat just came out for this season. I did not have any problems with the new unit. As the boat is used in salt water I must apply antifouling paint. My recommendation would be to offer units with just primer as I had to sand the beautiful Black finish for the new paint.
