  • Holding up behind a SBC 388 Stroker

One of our customers here at Fat Boyz Kustoms & Marine in Shawnee Oklahoma has a 1987 Four Winns 21ft Liberator with one of our custom built SBC 388 Strokers. At the beginning of the summer he started having drive (OMC) problems, upon further inspection we determined that the drive had a seal or multiple seals fail allowing the drive to fill with water. The seal failure went undetected long enough to cause rust damage along with bearing and gear failure. After pricing the customer a full rebuild of the Complete OMC Drive he chose to go with the SEI Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen II Conversion. He has been nothing but excited with it all summer and has held up flawlessly behind our Stroker. He reports speeds in the boat of 80mph + GPS. We have also installed several Complete Dives, Uppers and Lowers Units, Drive Showers and other parts from SEI with 0% failures in or on other customers boats. We are very pleased with the products from SEI and will continue doing business with them.
