Great day and bad day at the lake. i just finished pulling my 5yr. old granddaughter for her first time water skiing.
on our way back in we lost the top bearing in my mercruser alpa gen 2. tow in, tear down, found all the parts to rebuild, except top top bearing cap. all kinds of gen 1, but no gen 2. then i came across SEI and they have the correct cap, at a reasonable price. about the same as a used one on e-bay, only brand new. every thing is back together, emma is back on the lake, trying to single ski, and all thanks to SEI.
