Bought a lower unit a year ago from SEI and everything was great until the shift cable broke leaving the lower unit stuck in the forward gear. Had to remove the lower unit and ship it back to Florida for repair. Received the lower unit back in about 3 weeks and everything appears to be fine as of now. Kind of skeptical due to the fact that the motor had not been used very much over the past year (maybe 10 hours) and already having issues like this. Everyone at SEI was very helpful in getting the warranty work completed but just hope that I don't have to spend the money to have the lower unit removed/shipped/installed again. Hopefully the part that broke in the lower unit was a fluke and not due to poor quality parts or assembly. Time will tell.
