2002 mercury 225 lower unit
Purchased A lower unit back in June 2016
Never had a problem with it till couple days ago. 1/2 mile from pass unit locked up not sure if I hit something or not. Long story short made a call to get new unit overnighted. While on phone customer serviced asked if my old unit was under warranty. Come to find out it was until June 1 2019. So when new unit showed up next day I put old unit in same box and shipped back to them. Within 3 days I had a new unit sent to me under warranty no charge no hassle at all
