Just got back from a week long vacation after installing my new SE-106 complete upper and lower units. It was a camping trip that comprised of putting the boat in the lake in the morning and pulling back out to go to the camp site each night. This actually worked to my benefit since I logged the first 10 hours rather quickly and was able to change the gear oil at the camp site, as I had planned. The oil was clean and only minor fuzz on the mag plug. The only extra maintenance I had to do was a slite adjustment on the lower shift cable just before the 10 hours, which I believe to be normal due to the "breaking in" of the lower unit. I did this on the lake with my wife on the swim step rotating the prop. I have had no problems and only pure satisfaction along with numerous compliments from family and friends about the quality of the stern drive.
Thank you very much for an excellent product at a price that enabled me to keep my boat.
Thanks again, Scott :D
