Fitment Question 1992 Chris Craft

Hi I have a 1992 Chris Craft 227 Concept with a Ford 351 and OMC outdrive. I have been told yes and no that your kit will fit. I think the shifting is in the upper, but when I called the guy on the phone said as long as its a carb model it will not matter. I got an email telling me if its shifts in the upper it will not work....im confused.

We do not make a conversion kit for the unit that shifts in the upper, so unfortunately it will not work for you.
