Prop Hits Anode

Getting ready to mount my outdrive to the new OMC to SEI conversion kit and noticed the new mercruiser 15x17 prop hits the anode.

Did I get the wrong prop? I was told on the phone when placing order to get the same diameter and pitch.

Mercruiser also has a flat anode that is used in situations like that. You can just cut the fin off that one or source a flat one locally.

This is the one SEI sent me, after spending over 2K can I be sent a flat one or get a credit to find it myself?

Trim the fin to clear the prop. Done...

I was going to trim it and decided against hacking it up and bought one for $11 including shipping on the bay.Anode.jpg
