speedometer hook up

I have an 89 omc 5.8 with a SEI116 conversion lower unit. the boat is still using the old fashioned speedometer pitot tube on the transom. I would like to be able to use the pickup in the lower unit instead. I cleaned out the hole in the front of the bottom leg, however I see that there is not even a speedo hose hooked up to it, just a bare nipple connector up in there. iI there a hose kit I can get which will connect to this nipple and then run thru the transom and on up to the speeedometer ?

I looked in to this, what a PITA IMHO, the thought of running the hose up the shift cable tube bothers me, it was a major pain just getting the shift cable guided up there.
