I have a 1985 Mercruiser v8 5.7liter 260 hp Alpha 1 sterndrive with a 1:50:1 gear ratio, I am looking to replace the upper portion of the drive. What would the correct gear ration to get. From my point of view you dont seem to carry a 1:50:1 gear ratio?

You would order the 1.47. It will actually be identical to what you have now, with a tooth count of 20-22. The reason it is called a 1.47 instead of a 1.5 is when combined with a newer lower unit, the overall ratio is slightly different.
