Rotation Question

Hi,
I am looking at replacing my two standard rotation Alpha 1 Gen 1 outdrives on my twin engine boat.

Q) What is required to make the portside a counter-rotation outdrive?

I read through previous threads and it states "changing the throw" at the helm. Does this mean reversing the throw directin or increasing the throw? How difficult is this to do? Anything else I have to change?

It sure would be nice to have counter rotators...

You would need to reverse the throw for the counter roation side. It can be difficult depending on your control. You might even need to replace it if it is not possible to change it.

The other thing would be having a matching set of props, one LH and one RH.

And of course you will ne a counter rotation lower unit.
