Received and installed Drive Questions

Drive arrived Friday and I assembled and installed this weekend. Just fired it up with muffs today water was coming out of drain hole in lower unit. Is this normal? I have never noticed that before on old drive maybe just forgot. The drive shifts into forward and reverse fine however, when I bring control to neutral from reverse the drive stays in reverse until I bump it towards forward. Any ideas on where to start for that adjustment?

The water coming out that drain hole is fine, it is a drain hole for a cavity in the lower unit and the exhaust is running through the drive, so some will drain there.

The shifting does sound like a shift adjustment issue. Please email tech@sterndrive.cc and ask for the shift adjustment document.
