Front Mounting Stud Installation into Lower Drive

I received an Upper and Lower drive set today. Noticed that with the Lower unit, there is a long stud packed separately. I assume this is the front upper-to-lower mounting stud.

I have read the installation guides per the info sheet placed with the packing slips, and there is no mention of this stud.

Can you offer some instructions for the proper installation of the stud? What is the best way to install it, type of loctite recommended if any, depth, torque, etc.

That stud is not installed by the factory because of damage during transit.You normally would take 2 nuts back to back and install the stud with a drop of blue loc-tite untill tight.
