Damaged Paint Work And Corroison On Upper Drive

I have paint and corrosion issues with a SEI 106 upper drive I purchased from you in early Feb 2013 after only 20 hours (see pictures). The boat is on a trailer not moored and is washed down and run after each use. I live in Western Australia and the boat is only used in salt water I have read on the forum you have a lot paint and corrosion problems. What can I do to rectify the problem? Does not having the continuity washer and screw on, have anything to do with it?

I'm sorry for having an issue with our product. We had some paint issues early on, but those are behind us now. We do get an occasional complaint, but we sell a lot of units so it is a very low percentage. The top cover seems to have some corrosion, but the cracking is something else. There must have been a problem with the paint or the application process. Please contact the warranty department at warranty@sterndrive.cc and they will get you taken care of.
