clump, clump sound in lower

hi all, removed bearing carrier and replaced prop shaft seals and big o-ring on
bearing carrier, now I hear a clump, clump sound in lower only in reverse
in forward sounds ok checked the shift shaft looks ok but not sure,
had problem with shift shaft before but there was ether no reverse
or a cling, cling, cling sound, drive is trimmed all the way down?

Could be a shift adjustment, assuming you got the brass shift lever lined up properly. Email tech@sterndrive.cc for the shift adjustment document. That may help you get it figured out.
