I recently install upper/lower 106 and very happy at this time. I have 5+ hrs of break-in time on units and everything is going well. I have some slight noise at 2200-2300 rpm's but seems to be getting better. Upper case is running much cooler than previous Mercruiser.
?? I had a "Cobra" stainless hydrofoil on previous drive and would like to install on the SE. It requires drilling in plate on drive so how does this effect warranty ? It is a better quality foil that spreads stress out from front to rear of drive and wraps around rear of drive ?
