New to Board/what else do I need....

Hey, I saw the add for sterndrive engineering in a boat magazine..., with the price of merc/volvo/konrad drives i thought i was still a few years away from putting something together, but with sterndirve engineering's prices I could start today.

Question: i'd like to know what other parts are required to mount one of sterndrive engineering's SEI06/SEII6 to the transom to include everything up to the motor. will i need an old merc donor system??? I'd rather just buy all new. Is this all available from sterndirive engineering??

and finally...

If the parts from the motor back are available, am I limited to using chevrolet blocks, or can i use mopar or ford???

You will need a complete transom assembly and a motor coupler. We do not sell these items. If you can find a good "donor" boat that would be the most economical.
