  • shift shat lever

I just recieved my se106 complete today and delivery speed was excellent thank you.

I do however need to find out about the shift shaft since the hole in the new unit is so large. Do I need to remove the sleeve from my old unit, buy a bigger shift shaft, or buy a new sleeve. If I need a new sleeve or shaft where do I get it and if I need to remove my old one what is the easiest way without damageing it.

This is the only thing between me and the maiden voyage of this boat.

    Thank You

We do not use a bushing in the upper housing for the brass shift shaft. The bushing is not necessary. The brass shift shaft is captured on the lower shift shaft splines and the shift mechanism in the bell housing so it will not go anywhere. Just assemble with your old brass shift shaft and you will have no problems.
