Dismantling my SE106 lower unit

I have a 2.5 year old lower unit that has major gear problems in the lower unit. Since its not covered under the three-year warranty and I can't afford a new one, can you provide the instructions for taking the gear housing apart and inspection?
I removed the lower unit from the upper unit and don't want to proceed without reviewing a manual first. Since I didn't budget such a costly failure so soon, I can't afford to buy a manual either. Your support is appreciated.

If you go to www.iboats.com and search in the forums you should be able to find a link to a manual online. That will give you the instructions for disassembly and inspection as well as the necessary special tools to do the job.
