  • Trim Tab Bolt

    Hi,
Finally put together my new SEI 106 this morning. Went well. There are, along with the nuts, plastic tube and shift shaft, two bolts included. The shorter bolt goes into the drive from underneath the trim tab space. There is one longer bolt. I was assuming it was for the trim tab. However, it does not fit through the opening in the top of the drive. I am assuming I need to use the old bolt from the old drive to put on the trim tab. I use a flat tab because I have power steering. If that is the case, did I forget to put the big long bolt somewhere. Thanks Roman

The trim tab bolt must be placed into the hole of the lower before mating the upper half to the lower half. The hole in the upper is only to allow access with an allen wrench. This is the same design as Mercury.

Which is the trim tab bolt?

Is the trim tab bolt the long one or the short one.
      Thanks again
