I may need to replace one 1990 alpha one trim pump. What is the compatibility of http://www.sterndrive.cc/Merchant2/m...iserTrimSystem -- weren't there several different iterations of the alpha one trim pump?

They are all pretty much the same from about 86 or 87 till today. Our pump should work just fine for you.

P.S. one very minor comment is that it would be nice if the SEI bracket holes were on the OEM pattern. The OEM trim bracket has 6 screws; the SEI bracket has 4, so only one original hole can be used, you have to fill 5 old holes, and drill 3 new holes. Not a huge deal and maybe Mercruiser changed the pattern at some point (?) but it would be even nicer if the bracket lined up on OEM hole pattern so you could reuse existing mounting holes.Comment
