Water Pump Impeller Kit

Received the water pump replacement kit for my 85 Alpha One drive today and when examining the parts it appears that the impeller will not fit inside the upper and lower water pump housing. It is to large... Do i have the wrong impeller... I ordered and received 96-102-01K...

That is the correct kit, the impeller is actually forced into the cup.
Upper housing in your right hand, put impeller in warm water to soften it a bit, with left hand, insert impeller with a twisting motion counter-clockwise untill seated.
